Gameguard makes me sad panda

I got everything all nice and updated, and the first time I run the game everything is smooth, cut scene comes on and everything. Now, every time I run the game I get an annoying Gameguard windows screen that pops up with the launcher when I hit "play." It doesn't say I have a Gamegaurd error..it just seems to want to open the Gameguard website page for error fixes. The game still runs and I can get to the login screen, its just annoying to close this Gameguard window. Anyone else with this problem?

Noted bug, has been reported to NCsoft.

Add the gameguard site to your blocked list?

Ironically I just had a gameguard error for CAion just now.

tbh i had this before when i loaded the CBT. I asked the support about it and they reply on me by this:

The GameGuard 114 issue you are reporting could be related to User Account Controls in Windows Vista.

To resolve the issue please try the following:

1. Go to your Start Menu and then select the Control Panel.

2. Type 'UAC' in the search box with the magnifying glass.

3. This will bring up a link below labeled 'Turn User Account Control (UAC) on or off'. Click this link.

4. Uncheck 'Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer'.

5. Click 'OK'.

6. You will then be prompted to reboot your computer. Please reboot your computer at this time.

Please let us know if the problem persists after trying these instructions.

The simplier resolution to this matter would be to just right click -> run as administrator on the Aion icon when starting.

If you have some reason to want vista's security garbage on.

Lani Blazer (NCsoft) response about the Game Guard issue:

""Gameguard: We're still in the process of patching and prepping the servers. If you are getting errors! Don't panic. All will be well for OBT!"
