Which voice to choose...

Has anyone given any thought to the voice they'll be choosing for their character? During closed beta I was using the Japanese language pack, and I chose character voice 3 (because it sounds the coolest).

But I hadn't given any thought to the fact that everyone else would hear me with the default voice #3, which I guess was the spastic Bruce Lee on methamphetamine voice, which made me wonder...

You see, I encountered the Bruce Lee voice in the Chinese Beta, which had the Korean language pack in it. And apparently it's also in the English pak (at least the combat sounds are). So now I don't want my cool Japanese voice because everyone will hear Bruce Lee, whooping and hooting during every fight.

Does anybody have a voice preference of their own? In which language pak? Is there a way to set the sounds you want to hear in conjunction with the sounds you want everybody else to hear? Maybe I'm just being silly.

Hahaha. That bruce lee voice. Oh god... I'll be going for the cutest voice of course. For me the voices were broken and i didn't get the chance to hear them on the chinese server and the closed beta.

I think I had the Bruce Lee voice either for my main Assassin or my alt Spiritmaster. That's why I plan to use default voices for most of retail.

There is some complicated way to change the order of the voices from what you hear to sort of match up the manly and the Bruce Lee and the childish voices from the different languages. I dont know what it is or where I could find a guide for yout but I know its possible from some posts Ive read.

lol I never noticed it...i usually have music blasting or vent turned up so I don't really hear much going on in the game...

Aion - Rename JP Voices v2.rar

Here is the fix for the order of the voices so that ppl wont think you chose the kids voice for your manly man.

Yeah I ran that, and it still seems like the cool japanese voice is still voice #3 (the one done by Koyasu Takehito) Who knows what it sounds like in english or KR packs, but ohh well. I'm fine sounding good to myself, haha.
