i like how that case has the watercooling system built in. I'd go without the lights though, but thats just me. I'm not really into the whole neon light thing. Reminds me of the ricers back in the day that used to have em all over thier stock civics.

All set! My computer arrived and I'm all setup. Of course, they forgot to put the screws in one of my cards. I went to hook up the monitor and was like wtf... crooked card. Easy fix.
So far the cpu hasn't breached 36C but the cards idle at like 44-45C. I don't know if that's high. All is running well and SLI is setup. Redownloading AION as we speak. Fun.

Yeah Latex thats the case I have, I think its like 30 pounds or more empty, when the box first showed up I was floored. I had never had anything over a mid tower, this thing was bigger then I expected. I would however not swap it for anything. Everything fits in great with lots of breathing room and the built in water cooling keeps it nice and cool, its incredily flexible when it comes to custom building and its design makes cable management pretty clean. I wanted to go with water cooling the graphics cards too, however I'm having a hard time finding a full coverage block for my cards so right now I have all the fan spots occupied.
I thought it was pretty funny when everyone was posting pics of their desk top and it was super cluttered. Made me wonder if I was the only one that keeps it minmal. I have my tower under my desk now, it was only on top during construction. Last edited by Soulan; 08-14-2009 at 12:46 AM. |
