• Reason for leaving: I left Divine because I felt that the leadership was non-existent, handled issues poorly, they didn't really have any goals in mind to accomplish, and seemed to just let in anyone (weren't selective enough when picking up recruits). I am leaving Soldiers of Fortune because it has become too inactive and I am looking for a more active legion.

• Previous Games: World of Warcraft is my only previous MMO that I have played, but I've played several online RPGs such as the Diablo series (Blizzard Entertainment).
• Raid Experience: My previous raid experience is from World of Warcraft. I raided seriously with some morning/daytime/oceanic raiding guilds and had cleared Naxxramas 10/25, Obsidian Sanctum 10/25 (OS+3D 10/25), Eye of Eternity 10/25, Ulduar 10 (12/13 including Yogg-Saron, minus General Vezax), Ulduar 25 (12/13 minus Yogg-Saron).

• Why do you want to join Rising Dragoon?: I have several friends in Rising Dragoon and group with members quite often. Rising Dragoon is very active, a quality I'm looking for in a legion, and I can contribute a lot to and accomplish my goals with RD.
• What can you bring to Rising Dragoon?: I have a lot of MMO tanking experience (played as a main tank in World of Warcraft), I'm a skilled, competent player (I read up on my class, strats, and do a little theorycrafting), and am an expert weaponsmith. I enjoy grouping for instances and I'm a quick learner and can learn to competently tank/dps any instance or encounter.

I started out playing mmorpg's with my hubby. Back in the Ultima Online days. Got hooked and now I think I play them more than he does. I like to do sewing/tailoring/crafting in rl. I work in a Drs'. office.

I originally joined some friends in beta on Trineil server, playing asmo side. They got tired of the "grind" at level 27 or 28. I kept on playing for a bit to catch up to them, I think I was about 22 or 23. Got into TC and leveled to 29 in 3 or 4 TC instance runs. I found out I really liked it. Then the legion started to crumble. I found out that the guild I had been in for WARHAMMER was going to have toons starting on Zikel, so I started over. Made another cleric and started leveling her up. I liked the Elyos too. Then that Legion, "Pak'cafan" started crumbling as well. Folks didn't like the "grind" and then other games came out that they were wanting to try.
I joined Eminence Legion. There was a player that had been a "Pakster" many years before, so I got in contact with him (he had an alt in Pak'cafan at that time). Then Eminence started crumbling as well. They decided to merge with Velocity. I didn't know anyone in that legion, didn't have any friends in it, and so I was in limbo for a few days trying to decide which direction I was going to take.
I talked with Nathaniel, he was in Soldiers of Fortune. I talked with a few friends I had made in ODIUM, I talked with Raven members, and I talked with Divine members. At the time Saeza (my friend) was still not sure where she, and a few other friends I had, were going. I decided to join with the Soldiers of Fortune.

I have played UO, Never Winter Nights, DAoC, WoW, AoC, Warhammer Online, D & D online, LotRO, and now Aion

While in DAoC and WoW I was in a large guild. We would have pve raids of 40 (or more) and pvp encounters as well. I might not be the fastest player to pick up on new content, it might take me a few runs before I get something, but once I do, I put my heart into it.

I have been playing mmorpg's since UO came out with the Trammel side... however long ago that was. Trying to figure out how long ago that was......... LOL.. I give up.... 12 years? (more?)

I grouped with a Temp, Ranger, and Chanter one evening in SR. They were great. I wish I could remember their names. All three were from RD. I had never heard of the legion before. Then a few weeks after that, I was talking with Saeza, she had been looking for a Legion, and had joined RD along with her hubby, Buffalobill. Another friend I had made had also joined, Erethor.

• Are you applying as Casual, Hardcore or Both:
I'm not sure I consider myself "Hardcore", I don't craft or cultivate, I don't pvp very well. The 3-D graphics are a bit much for my pc to handle. I'm hoping to be able to get something better to handle it soon.

I have ventrilo and am an avid user of it. I don't enjoy typing while in raids.. I make so many typo's.

• Previous Games: As far as MMOs go I haven't played the original Asheron's Call or UO...put at least 3 months into nearly everything else out including many betas. EQ - max level and raided over a year, EQ2 max crafting level, 40s for the character level before the expansions, no raiding, AO 180ish...3 years playing, by far my favorite MMO so far but dated, WoW, get bored 3 months after each expansion and won't be going back ever...did a lot of raiding, RFO, AC2, DAoC, LotRO, CoH (not villans), TR, EVE briefly.

• What can you bring to Rising Dragoon? I know my class well and am used to playing support classes in MMOs. I am also pretty laid back and look for the good of the group by helping when I can
